JAMMU & KASHMIR Forces resort to Aerial firing during clashes in Shopian | KNO Published 369 weeks ago on April 06, 2019 By KashmirNewsObserver Shopian, April 06 (KNO) : Forces resorted to aerial firing during clashes near encounter site in Pargochi area of Shopian. Reports reaching KNO that soon after the news of killing of two militants spread in the area youth took to streets and started pelting stones on government forces which was retialated by aerial firing, tear smoke and sound shells. Earlier two militants namely Bilal from keegam and Rahil Rashid Sheikh of Nuner Ganderbal were killed in brief shootout in orchards of Pargochi. Search operation is still going on in the area. One militant is believed to have managed to escape from the spot and forces believe he is somewhere hidden in the sealed area, official sources said.
